Synopsis
“Happiness in the Wind” is a story about a 19-year old girl named Kwon Oh-bok. She has nothing but a dream to be Korea\'s best illustrator. This story is about her love and dream.
Although Oh-bok has a hard life because of her troublesome father, she is a strong girl who always tries her best to realize her dream without any complaints. She has an interview for an illustrator position, but she fails in spite of her great ability because she is young and a high school dropout.
To make things worse, she ends up having no place to live as her father vouches for someone\'s debt and the house is mortgaged. After many complications, she gets acquainted with the Jang family. Later, she comes to love Jang Dae-han who is the eldest son of the Jang family.
Dae-han is a perfect man who has both good looks and ability. However, underneath, he is a single father of six-year old son and the oldest son of an insignificant family. He unconsciously falls in love with Oh-bok who suddenly came into his life.
There is another woman between them. She is Choi Mi-ran, who is Dae-han’s first love as well as the real mother of Dae-has’s son, Dok-rip. The only daughter of a rich family, Mi-ran loved Dae-han and gave birth to a baby. However, her parents force her into a marriage to other man. Six years after she left for America, she comes back to Korea as a divorcee. She looks for Dae-han, but she realizes there is already another woman beside him. She becomes Oh-bok’s rival in love.
“Happiness in the Wind” tries to deliver hope to modern people being tired of the hard world through Oh-bok who realizes her dream with her positive personality and other characters who find happiness by overcoming their own handicaps.
